These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of furumishop.com and purchases made through the Furumi online store.

Throughout these Terms, “Furumi,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Furumi online store.

By accessing our website, using our services, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Online Store Use

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, introduce malicious software, engage in fraudulent activity, impersonate another person, or use the website in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

2. Products and Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and display our products, including their appearance, dimensions, materials, colors, and features.

However, product colors and appearance may vary slightly because of screen settings, lighting, photography, materials, production methods, or the handmade or customized nature of certain products.

Minor variations that naturally result from printing, engraving, manufacturing, handmade production, or customization do not necessarily constitute defects.

Nothing in this section limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

3. Personalized and Custom Products

Some Furumi products are created using information or materials submitted by you, including names, text, photographs, artwork, pet images, measurements, colors, or other customization choices.

You are responsible for reviewing your customization information before submitting your order.

Customers may request changes or cancellation within 24 hours after placing an order. After this period, or once production has begun, changes and cancellations may no longer be possible.

Personalized and custom-made products are subject to our Refund Policy.

4. Customer-Submitted Photos and Content

When you submit photographs, artwork, names, text, designs, or other content to Furumi for a personalized product, you represent that you own the content or otherwise have the right and permission to use and submit it for this purpose.

You retain ownership of the content you submit.

You grant Furumi a limited, non-exclusive license to reproduce, crop, resize, adjust, format, transmit, and otherwise process the submitted content only as reasonably necessary to prepare, manufacture, fulfill, deliver, and provide customer support for your order.

Furumi will not use customer-submitted photographs or personalized content in advertising, social media, or other marketing materials without separate permission from the customer.

5. Orders

Submitting an order does not require us to accept an order where there is a legitimate reason not to do so.

We may cancel, decline, or limit an order in situations including suspected fraud, payment issues, obvious pricing errors, stock or production limitations, prohibited activity, inability to fulfill an order, or inaccurate customer information.

If Furumi cancels an order after payment has been successfully collected, the applicable payment will be refunded.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing, delivery, contact, and customization information.

6. Pricing and Payment

Product prices may change from time to time.

The price shown during checkout when your order is submitted will normally be the price applicable to that order, except where an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.

Shipping fees, taxes, customs duties, import charges, and other applicable charges may be added where relevant and will be handled as described at checkout or in our policies.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Processing and delivery dates displayed on our website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by production time, carriers, customs processing, weather, peak sales periods, incorrect customer information, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to fulfill and ship orders according to the estimated timelines displayed on our website.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, cancellations, and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Where applicable consumer law provides rights beyond our published policy, those rights remain unaffected.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Furumi name, brand assets, original product photography, illustrations, text, graphics, website content, and original designs belong to Furumi or are used by Furumi with appropriate permission.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from our intellectual property without permission.

This provision does not give Furumi ownership of customer-submitted photographs or other customer-owned content.

10. Third-Party Intellectual Property

Customers must not submit content that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

If you submit third-party content for personalization, you represent that you have the necessary rights or permission to use that content for the requested product.

We may decline or cancel customization requests that we reasonably believe may infringe another party’s rights.

11. Third-Party Services

Our store is hosted on Shopify and may use third-party providers for payment processing, analytics, shipping, fulfillment, communications, advertising, and other services.

Certain third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

12. Errors and Inaccuracies

Our website may occasionally contain typographical errors, incorrect prices, inaccurate descriptions, availability errors, or other mistakes.

We may correct inaccurate information and, where legally permitted, cancel or correct an affected order.

If an order is cancelled after payment because of an error on our part, the applicable payment will be refunded.

13. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions, discount codes, gifts, and special offers may be subject to additional conditions displayed at the time of the promotion.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined and have no cash value.

We reserve the right to modify or end promotions where legally permitted, provided that doing so does not improperly affect completed purchases.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Furumi will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
